A Continent at War

The Fractured Hegemony unveils the myth of civilized warfare, revealing a frightening geopolitical contradiction: when does the right of a people to exist become more important than the established rules written by those who do not know what it feels like to have to fight for their existence? 

Taking place during the crumbling certainties of the late 2030s, this tale revolves around the empires that lost faith in their own restraint, while nations realize too late that the rules meant to protect them were just a courtesy. Without exception, presidents, generals, propagandists, and partisans each convince themselves that they are the last rational being in the world who has gone insane. All of them are mistaken. 

This series is centered around mechanisms behind the modern power: economists, who can see the crisis coming, strategists, who are getting rich from it, soldiers, who receive orders to perform what they could not possibly endure, and ordinary people between two governments, which have concluded that they are in no way responsible for the well-being of their subjects. 

There are no innocent characters in the story told here; some simply make their choice faster than others.

The first books, the trilogy called Northern Anvil, will be released by October 15th, 2026.
